### Position Overview
**Dates of Coverage:** Immediate start date required
**Schedule:** Two potential shifts: 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, with an obligation to complete the entire 12-hour shift. Flexibility to work multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts is available.
**Call Coverage:** Yes **Call Type:** GYN call for Emergency Department and Beeper/Phone calls
**Call Ratio:** 100% while on shift
**Average Call Back Hours:** Not applicable
**Number of Providers Needed:** 1-2
### Responsibilities
*Patient Population:** Obstetrics and Gynecology
**Care Setting:** 100% inpatient and emergency department **Average Patient Load:** 0-6 patients per day
**Trauma Level Designation:** No trauma designation
**Required Duties:** - Perform OB vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Conduct emergent surgical procedures - Provide GYN coverage for the Emergency Department
- Participate in practice calls for the outpatient department (HOPD)
- Daily patient rounds and discharges
- Collaborate with midwives for patient support
**EMR System:** Epic (specifically, Stork module)
### Credentialing
**Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:** Approximately 4 months
**Temporary Privileges:** Available on a case-by-case basis
### Travel and Logistics
**Approved Travel
Reimbursements:** - Airfare - Lodging - Rental Cars - Mileage at the IRS standard rate

### Shift Details
- Required to fulfill the full 12-hour shift, either from 7 AM to 7 PM or from 7 PM to 7 AM. Onsite presence for the entire duration of the shift is mandatory.
