Position Summary
The Lead Tech/MT/MLT/CLS/CLT is responsible for
- Performing the lab tests ordered by providers in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performing venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Department patients, and Outpatients as required.
- Performing Preventive Maintenance and other Quality Assurance Activities to promote continuing excellence within the laboratory.
Qualifications
MLT/CLT – Associate in Applied Science Degree with MLT/CLT, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred). MT/CLS – Bachelor’s of Science Degree with MT/CLS of the equivalent in education, highly recommended to be registered with a nationally recognized organization (ASCP preferred). Prior Medical Technology experience preferred.
