Hidalgo TMS Psychiatric Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing psychiatric and neuromodulation practice. This role is ideal for a bilingual clinician (English/Spanish) who has experience working with mood and anxiety disorders and is interested in innovative treatments such as Spravato (esketamine) therapy and TMS. The LMHC will work collaboratively with psychiatric providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients
- Conduct clinical assessments and ongoing treatment planning
- Treat patients with Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Provide therapy support for patients undergoing Spravato (esketamine) treatment
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans)
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and coping strategies
- Adhere to ethical standards, HIPAA regulations, and practice policieS
Requirements
- Active Florida LMHC license (required)
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
- Experience treating mood and anxiety disorders
- Familiarity or experience with Spravato therapy (preferred, but training can be provided)
- Experience working with patients with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and OCD
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient psychiatric or medical office experience
- Experience working alongside psychiatric providers
- Interest in interventional psychiatry and innovative treatments
- Comfortable working with insurance-based and/or self-pay patients
