Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products.
- Conduct quality testing to verify compliance with established specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately document inspection findings and test results using approved quality systems.
- Identify and document nonconforming materials and support quality investigations.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for inspection procedures and quality processes.
- Support compliance with Quality Management System requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
- Perform environmental monitoring within cleanroom environments using aseptic techniques.
- Conduct viable air, surface, and non-viable particulate monitoring activities.
- Perform compressed air sampling when required.
- Document laboratory testing and monitoring activities within a Laboratory Information Management System.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, quality, and compliance objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in microbiology, quality inspection, environmental monitoring, or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.
- Experience performing environmental monitoring activities.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent documentation skills and knowledge of Good Documentation Practices.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or another life science discipline.
- Experience with LabVantage or another Laboratory Information Management System.
- Experience with compressed air sampling.
- Experience supporting FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
