Children & Family Express Care Clinic is seeking a Part Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide coverage across our two Indianapolis clinic locations. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys working in a fast-paced urgent care and primary care environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to both pediatric and adult patients.

Providers may be scheduled to work at either location based on coverage needs.
Schedule
Part Time coverage with flexible scheduling.
Typical clinic hours include:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 2 Fixed weekly shifts
Position Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to pediatric and adult patients in an urgent care/primary care setting. The provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with clinical staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan (pediatric and adult)
- Perform physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate
- Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions
- Perform common urgent care procedures when needed (e.g., suturing, wound care, splinting)
- Document all patient encounters accurately within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with medical assistants, front office staff, and providers to maintain clinic flow and quality care
Qualifications
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Active Indiana Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in urgent care, family practice, pediatrics, or emergency care preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Preferred Experience
- Pediatric and adult urgent care experience
- Experience working with electronic medical records (AthenaHealth preferred)
- Ability to perform minor procedures
