BASIC PURPOSE:
Assumption University invites you to apply to our Nursing Clinical Instructor Adjunct team at the Froelich School of Nursing. The BSN program has a traditional 4-year track and a 16-month post-bachelor’s accelerated track.
Assumption University is seeking nurses with an unencumbered RN license in MA and an MSN or MS degree in health-related fields. Required clinical experience includes a minimum of two years full-time experience in nursing, or its equivalent, within the last five years and evidence of clinical competence in the areas of clinical instruction. - Serve as a professional role model in the clinical learning environment
- Encourage student learning
- Facilitate the application of theoretical material into clinical practice
- Demonstrate use of technology in the clinical environment
- Demonstrate and maintain an inclusive, safe environment for student learning
- Oversee and provide constructive feedback on student clinical assessment work
- Must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University
