The Faculty Instructor is a registered nurse who demonstrates expertise in nursing and in teaching nursing. As a member of HBS's Practical Nursing Program, the Faculty Instructor is responsible for the educational preparation of safe, compassionate, caring practical nurses, who are eligible to sit for the NY State Licensing Examinations (NCLEX-PN) following graduation. This instruction includes teaching and supervision of the adult learner and providing direct patient care to populations across the life span. The Faculty Instructor will support the overall goals of the Practical Nursing Program at Hunter Business School.

Classroom Instructor:
Teach classes in multiple specialty subjects.
Qualifications
Master's degree from a qualified nursing program or a Bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a qualified Master's nursing degree program.
NYS RN license is required
Minimum 3 years clinical practice within the past 5 years.
Schedule: We have 3 shifts available.
1. Monday and Wednesday evenings on campus from 6pm - 10pm
2. Tuesday and Thursday evenings on campus from 6pm-10pm
3. Monday through Thursday evenings on campus from 6pm - 10pm
