How do I get a operations project manager job in Atlanta?
Focus your search on Atlanta's strongest hiring sectors: logistics and supply chain, healthcare systems, financial services, and technology. Roles concentrate in Midtown, Buckhead, and the Cumberland/Galleria area, along with the Perimeter Center corridor. Candidates who stand out locally tend to hold a PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification and can point to measurable process improvements. Tailoring your resume to the specific industry you're targeting gives you a clear edge in Atlanta's competitive market.
Which companies hire operations project managers in Atlanta?
Atlanta operations project manager roles are posted by Google, Emory Healthcare, and PwC and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Atlanta's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, major hospital systems, and large logistics operators means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and industries.
Are there remote operations project manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Operations project management that involves warehouse oversight, facility coordination, or on-site team management is largely in-person, while process improvement and analytical project work can often be done remotely. About 22% of operations project manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with hybrid schedules most common at Atlanta's larger corporate and technology employers.
How can I get a operations project manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is through a coordinator or project analyst role, which local logistics companies, healthcare networks, and large retailers use as a pipeline for operations talent. Employers along the I-285 corridor and in Atlanta's hospital systems regularly hire for these supporting roles. Earning a CAPM or completing a Google Project Management certificate strengthens your candidacy, and volunteering to lead internal process projects in any current job builds the portfolio experience Atlanta hiring managers look for.
