Our client is looking to hire an OCI DevOps Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity with our client and will be worked onsite every other week for the first few months and then one week per quarter, in the Baltimore Metro area (travel/accommodations/etc. taken care of by client). This must be worked on W2. Blue Chip Talent is not currently offering visa sponsorship or engaging in C2C (Corp-to-Corp) arrangements for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 to 5 or more years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role
- Hands-on experience operating production workloads in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Experience supporting high-availability, 24x7 production systems
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in regulated environments
- Experience participating in on-call rotations and incident response
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting government or municipal customer
- Background in public safety, automated enforcement, or transportation technology systems
- Experience operating single-tenant customer environments
- Exposure to CJIS, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks
- Prior experience mentoring or leading technical peers in an informal or formal capacity
