INTRODUCTION
Our Office Operations team is at the heart of ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Firm’s day-to-day operations. Our team manages the infrastructure, systems and services —both globally and locally—relating to our office workplaces, onsite and remote operational services, security, safety and a range of other areas. We provide PA support and manage document production, translation and travel services. Our team is responsible for our client-facing areas across the Firm, always seeking to ensure that clients and other visitors have an experience that is world-class. We also take the lead in running our day-to-day operations in the most environmentally sustainable way possible.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant, Practice Support provides support by performing routine tasks within the team. This role performs key routine administrative tasks including document preparation, filing, data entry, and other clerical duties, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The roles and responsibilities of this job include:
- Assists in Practice Support with administrative tasks, such as document preparation, filing and other clerical duties to facilitate the smooth operation of the Legal Support process
- Keeps data and information records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Assists in the preparation and distribution of Practice Support related communications, such as memos, notices and newsletters, supporting the team in implementing initiatives or managing queries
- Responds to simple inquiries and requests for information, directing these to the appropriate team members or resources as needed
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring quality and reliability in the work performed
- Collaborates with team members to complete projects and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to team goals
- Roles at this level have no supervisory responsibilities
- Completion of some formal training or equivalent experience in relevant field
- Works under close supervision and follow established procedures and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members to achieve common goals

This role reports to Manager, Practice Assistant Services.
