Job Description
The College of Arts and Sciences seeks a dynamic, relationship-driven recruitment professional who is passionate about the transformative power of a Jesuit, liberal arts education. This individual will serve as a key advocate for the College, developing meaningful connections with prospective students, families, counselors, alumni, faculty, and community partners while promoting the value of a Creighton education grounded in the liberal arts. Reporting in partnership with Enrollment Management and College leadership, this position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy designed to achieve undergraduate enrollment and net revenue objectives. Embedded within the College of Arts and Sciences, the position serves as a critical liaison between the College and Enrollment Management, helping to shape compelling messaging, outreach initiatives, and go-to-market strategies that highlight the distinctive value of a liberal arts education and the opportunities available through the College. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic ambassador for the College of Arts and Sciences, an exceptional presenter, and a creative strategist who enjoys working directly with students and families throughout the college search process.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the value and lifelong impact of a liberal arts education through engaging presentations, outreach efforts, and personalized recruitment experiences.
- Build strong relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, alumni, faculty, and other stakeholders to support recruitment objectives.
- Analyze historical and trend data to direct strategic recruitment initiatives.
- Develop and conduct new outreach initiatives to promote the school/college in target markets.
- Work as a liaison with Enrollment Management to develop messaging and go-to-market plans that supplement the outreach and recruitment efforts.

- Manage special recruitment projects, special programs, and scholarship initiatives involving faculty, staff, and alumni.
- Represent the school/college at local, regional and national events to increase visibility, target enrollment and community partnerships. These efforts will engage the pool of potential students in a meaningful and personal way.
- Develop, coordinate and manage all undergraduate recruitment events for the school/college.
- Develop and execute ongoing correspondence with prospective students including, but not limited to phone contacts, email, letters, texting and social media.
- Manage a staff of student employees and interns.
- Identify and develop new opportunities to connect with prospective students in meaningful and authentic ways, fostering a strong sense of belonging and connection to Creighton.

Senior Level Outreach Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level outreach specialist job?
Employers at this level expect candidates who have owned full outreach programs, not just executed tasks within one. Demonstrating that you have shaped strategy, managed partner relationships independently, and coached or led junior staff gives you a clear edge. A portfolio showing measurable outcomes from campaigns you directed, along with evidence of cross-functional collaboration, is what separates senior candidates from mid-level applicants.
Which companies hire senior level outreach specialists?
Companies hiring senior level outreach specialists right now include DaVita, Columbus House, and Creighton University, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from organizations with established community engagement functions, advocacy goals, or large-scale partnership programs that need experienced leadership rather than entry-point execution.
Are there remote senior level outreach specialist jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by sector and employer. About 0% of senior level outreach specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how many organizations have built distributed teams for stakeholder and community engagement work. Roles tied to specific geographic outreach territories or government contracts are more likely to require an on-site presence.
What makes an outreach specialist role senior level?
Senior level outreach specialist roles are defined by ownership rather than execution. You are expected to set the strategic direction for outreach programs, manage relationships with high-value partners or institutional stakeholders, and mentor or lead junior team members. The scope is broader, the accountability is higher, and decisions about priorities, messaging, and resource allocation rest with you rather than a manager above you.
Which industries hire the most senior level outreach specialists?
Senior level outreach specialist roles concentrate in Education and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their outreach functions are complex enough to require experienced professionals who can manage institutional relationships, lead compliance-sensitive campaigns, or coordinate across large community ecosystems without close oversight.
