Partner Relationship Manager Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a partner relationship manager in Minnesota?
Most partner relationship manager roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, plus experience in sales or account management. No state-issued license is required for this role. Minnesota employers typically look for candidates who have worked in channel sales, vendor management, or business development, often within the technology, financial services, or healthcare sectors that anchor the Twin Cities and Rochester markets.
Which companies hire partner relationship managers in Minnesota?
Employers hiring partner relationship managers in Minnesota right now include Old National Bank, U.S. Bank, and JPMorganChase, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minnesota's strong base of enterprise technology, insurance, and healthcare companies means partner-focused roles appear regularly at both large corporations and regional mid-market firms.
Which Minnesota cities have the most partner relationship manager jobs?
Minneapolis, Rochester, and Saint Paul have the most partner relationship manager openings in Minnesota. The Twin Cities metro drives the bulk of demand because it is home to a dense cluster of enterprise tech companies, Fortune 500 headquarters, and financial services firms that rely on structured partner and channel programs, while Rochester's concentration of healthcare and medical technology employers adds a steady stream of alliance-focused roles.
Are there remote partner relationship manager jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 19% of partner relationship manager openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how relationship-management and channel coordination work translates well to distributed settings. Strategic planning, partner enablement, and pipeline management are the parts of the role most commonly performed remotely, while in-person expectations tend to apply for onboarding new partners or attending regional industry events.
How can I get hired as a partner relationship manager in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales, account coordinator, or business development representative role at a Minnesota technology, SaaS, or financial services company, then moving laterally once you have demonstrated relationship and pipeline skills. Large Minnesota employers such as UnitedHealth Group and Ecolab run structured associate or rotational business programs that place early-career candidates in partner-adjacent roles. Building familiarity with CRM tools and completing a vendor certification from a major technology partner program strengthens a candidacy significantly before a direct application.
Where can I find and apply to partner relationship manager jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to partner relationship manager jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers across the state. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your background and target sector, and apply directly to each one that fits.
