Position Title School Partnerships Coordinator (VVSD/Bolingbrook High School)
Position Status Full-Time
Base Pay $55,000
Job Description Summary
The School Partnerships Coordinator is a key teammate in implementing the Lewis University Community Schools Consortium (LUCSC) mission to support community thriving. Specifically, the Bolingbrook High School (BHS) Coordinator collaborates with school, district, university, and community partners to improve student, family, and community wellness and success. The Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for all activities occurring in partnership with the school district and Lewis University. NOTE: This position is 100% grant-funded.
Reports to: This position reports to the designated administrator(s) at Bolingbrook High School (in Valley View School District 365U), in coordination with the LUCSC Program Directors at Lewis University.
This is a grant funded position which ends 12/31/27.

Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate the ability to build trusting partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including youth, families, community leaders, school staff, and university constituents.
- Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives, coordinate partners, and meet deadlines.
- Take initiative to solve problems and identify resources independently.
- Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness.
- Utilize excellent verbal and written communication, including one-on-one, small group, and in larger meetings.
- Engage collaboratively with school leadership, school-based educators, community partners, university partners, and LUCSC colleagues.
- Exhibit the ability to collect, organize, and maintain program data.
- Identify strategic priorities and plans based on collected data.
- Demonstrate proficiency in essential technology tools, such as Microsoft products, Google products, AI, etc. Additionally, Coordinator will possess the following important qualities.
- High level of empathy.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Collaborative, culturally competent.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Strategic thinking.
Additional Information:
This position will be hired through Lewis University, while office space and daily work will be at the assigned school. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, year-round with flexible hours, as some late afternoon/evening hours may be required at times. The coordinator will co-coordinate Project R, a restorative program hosted from 2:45-5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for three 7-week sessions throughout the year.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Relevant experience in education, social work, psychology, nursing, sociology, human services, or other related field preferred; Experience working in P-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Skills and experience coordinating multifaceted programming within underserved communities, especially via public education systems
- Desire to work in a relationship-oriented environment; strong collaboration skills
- Two to three years building and maintaining community partnerships; program management experience strongly preferred
- Spanish-language written and oral proficiency preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and in a team

- Master’s degree
Work hours
This position is full-time, with hours Monday through Friday, year-round at Bolingbrook High School, 365 Raider Way, Bolingbrook, IL. Depending on the current activities and needs of the grant workload, hours of this job will remain flexible (i.e. there may be some later afternoon/evening hours depending on the week). When later hours are required, hours can flex accordingly. Coordinator will attend and facilitate an after school program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-5 pm for three 8-week sessions each school year.
