INTRODUCTION
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management is a critical leadership role responsible for the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company's manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, and project management functions. This individual will lead a large organization, ensuring the efficient and compliant production and delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The SVP will be a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and project management aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Manufacturing Operations: Oversee all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, adherence to cGMP regulations, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance function, ensuring the development and implementation of robust quality systems, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the highest standards of product quality.
- Supply Chain Management: Direct the supply chain organization, optimizing sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and distribution to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and finished goods.
- Project Management: Oversee the project management function, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of key projects, including new product launches, facility expansions, and process improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of global regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality, ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, and other relevant agencies.
- Team Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of professionals in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and project management.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing, quality, supply chain, capital and project management, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and project management, ensuring business continuity and patient safety.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with other members of the executive leadership team, as well as external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, suppliers, and customers.
- Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Engineering). An advanced degree (MS, MBA, or Ph.D.) is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant leadership experience in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality systems.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large organizations.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
