ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Review medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related issues, and recommend formulary alternatives when needed.
- Accurately compound and dispense medications to ensure safe patient delivery.
- Provide drug information, education, and counseling to patients and medical staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support effective patient care.
- Supervise pharmacy support staff, assist with training/precepting pharmacy students, and provide coverage across pharmacy operations as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
