We Are Hiring:
Location: Wichita, KS
Facility: Via Christi Clinic
Department: Float Staffing
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, Hours from 7am-6pm
Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.
What You Will Do:
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures accurately with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient flow and resource utilization.
- Gather and accurately enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database to establish a complete and compliant patient record.
- Coordinate insurance verification and pre-authorization processes to ensure financial clearance and reduce out-of-pocket stress for the patient.
- Educate patients on pre-service requirements, instructions, and financial responsibilities, promoting a clear and comfortable experience.
What You Will Need:
Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences:
- Medical Office/Scheduling Experience
- Must be willing to travel between clinics. Hours can fluctuate according to the coverage location. Between the hours of 7am-6pm
