ABOUT THE JOB
Under minimal supervision, and following established procedures, provide technical support and assistance to pharmacy staff. Perform data entry, prepare prescriptions, control inventory, provide customer service, and perform recordkeeping functions. Perform pharmacist duties under the direct supervision and guidance of a pharmacist.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Current enrollment and good standing in, or graduated within the past year from an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program or must have passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE).
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
Licensed as a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician or Registered as a Pharmacy Intern by Washington State Department of Health upon hire. If Licensed Pharmacy Assistant or Technician, Registration as a Pharmacy Intern by WA DOH is required no later than November 1st of employment year.
PREFERRED
Prior pharmacy experience.
SALARY INFORMATION
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
