Sales Intern Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales intern in Washington?
Sales intern roles in Washington do not require a state-issued license, so the path runs through education and targeted applications. Most Washington employers look for candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a business, marketing, or communications program at a Washington university or community college. Building familiarity with CRM platforms, completing a sales-focused elective or certification, and applying directly to internship programs posted by Washington technology and enterprise companies is the most reliable path.
Which companies hire sales interns in Washington?
Washington sales intern roles are posted by Buckle, Trane Technologies, and Highgate and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The Seattle and Bellevue corridor is home to a dense cluster of technology and cloud-services companies that run structured internship programs, making Washington one of the more active markets for sales intern hiring in the country.
Which Washington cities have the most sales intern jobs?
Bellevue, Seattle, and Lynden consistently post the most sales intern openings in Washington. Seattle's concentration of enterprise tech and SaaS companies drives the bulk of demand, while Bellevue and Redmond add significant volume because of the large corporate campuses anchored there by major technology employers whose sales teams hire interns each cycle.
Are there remote sales intern jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 60% of sales intern openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of Washington's sales activity sits inside technology and SaaS companies that are comfortable with distributed work. The roles most likely to be fully remote are inside sales, sales development representative support, and outreach coordination positions that rely on digital tools rather than in-person client visits.
How can I get hired as a sales intern in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to structured intern programs that large Washington technology employers run specifically for candidates without prior sales experience. Microsoft, Amazon, and regional SaaS companies post new-grad and first-internship cohort programs that prioritize communication skills and curiosity over a sales history. Adjacent starting points include customer success support, retail associate, or campus ambassador roles that Washington employers count as qualifying experience. A completed Salesforce Trailhead certification or HubSpot Sales Software certification strengthens an application meaningfully at this level.
Where can I find and apply to sales intern jobs in Washington?
