- Prepare executive-level updates, decision materials, status reporting, and roadmap summaries that clearly communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions needed.
- Support continuous improvement of product development processes, operating model clarity, decision rights, and accountability structures.

- Strong product mindset with the ability to translate strategic priorities into structured plans, clear requirements, and measurable business outcomes.
- Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across business, operational, and functional teams.

Pharmacy Manager Jobs in Rhode Island: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pharmacy manager in Rhode Island?
To become a pharmacy manager in Rhode Island, you must first hold an active pharmacist license issued by the Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy, which requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, passing the NAPLEX and MPJE exams, and completing the board's registration process. Most employers in the state also expect candidates to have completed a pharmacy practice residency or accumulated several years of staff pharmacist experience before moving into a management role.
Which companies hire pharmacy managers in Rhode Island?
Employers hiring pharmacy managers in Rhode Island right now include CVS Health and Walgreens, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. CVS Health's corporate presence in the state makes it one of the most consistent sources of pharmacy manager openings across both retail and specialty settings in Rhode Island.
Which Rhode Island cities have the most pharmacy manager jobs?
The cities with the most pharmacy manager openings in Rhode Island are Rhode Island, Woonsocket, and Warwick. Providence dominates as the state's largest city and the home of major health system campuses, while Warwick and Cranston draw openings from retail pharmacy chains and community health centers that serve densely populated suburban corridors in northern and central Rhode Island.
Are there remote pharmacy manager jobs in Rhode Island?
Yes, but they're rare. About 75% of pharmacy manager openings tied to Rhode Island are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the largely on-site nature of the role. The segments most likely to offer any remote flexibility are pharmacy benefit management, utilization review, and certain clinical program oversight positions that do not require direct dispensing supervision.
How can I get hired as a pharmacy manager in Rhode Island with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as a staff pharmacist at a Rhode Island health system or retail chain and pursuing an internal promotion after demonstrating leadership on the floor. Lifespan and Care New England both offer pharmacy practice residency programs that build clinical and operational management skills recognized by Rhode Island employers. Holding an active Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy license and completing a PGY-1 residency significantly improves a candidate's competitiveness for a first management role.
