Physical Therapist Assistant Jobs in Colorado Springs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a physical therapist assistant job in Colorado Springs?
Focus your search on Colorado Springs' outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics, which drive high PTA demand given the city's active, military-adjacent population. Hospital systems along the I-25 corridor and post-acute skilled nursing facilities in Briargate and the Powers area also hire steadily. Candidates who have completed clinical rotations locally and hold hands-on experience in manual therapy or neuro rehabilitation tend to move fastest through hiring in this market.
Which companies hire physical therapist assistants in Colorado Springs?
Companies currently hiring physical therapist assistants in Colorado Springs include UCHealth, CenterWell, and Supplied Talent, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Colorado Springs employers range from large regional health systems and national rehabilitation chains to locally owned outpatient clinics serving the city's military community and active adult population.
Are there remote physical therapist assistant jobs in Colorado Springs?
Remote work is uncommon for physical therapist assistants because the role requires direct, hands-on patient care. About 0% of physical therapist assistant openings tied to Colorado Springs are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions are typically limited to care coordination, telehealth check-ins, or administrative support functions rather than direct treatment delivery.
How can I get a physical therapist assistant job in Colorado Springs with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Colorado Springs is through a clinical aide or rehabilitation technician role at one of the city's outpatient ortho clinics or skilled nursing facilities, particularly those in the Briargate and Powers corridors that hire frequently at entry level. Completing fieldwork hours locally builds the relationships that lead to PTA offers, and facilities serving Fort Carson and the broader military community often value candidates who understand military-affiliated patient populations.
Which industries hire the most physical therapist assistants in Colorado Springs?
The sectors hiring the most physical therapist assistants in Colorado Springs are Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Colorado Springs' large military population, active outdoor culture, and growing retiree demographic consistently drive demand across orthopedic, post-acute, and sports rehabilitation settings throughout the city.
