Fast Track Urgent Care — St. Louis, MO (Woodson Terrace & Florissant) Full-Time |
Part-Time | Per-Diem — Flexible Scheduling
About Us
Fast Track Urgent Care is a growing, owner-operated urgent care group serving North St.
Louis County, with locations in Florissant and Woodson Terrace (minutes from St. Louis
Lambert International Airport). Our newest location is in its growth phase — which means
manageable patient volumes, real support, and the chance to shape a clinic rather than
inherit someone else’s grind.
The Role
We are hiring a provider — MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Missourilicensed
Assistant Physician (AP) — to deliver outstanding walk-in care. You’ll see a
general urgent care mix: acute illness and minor injury, occupational medicine, DOT
physicals, drug screens, and workers’ compensation visits.
We are flexible on structure. Whether you want full-time, a few set days per week, or perdiem
shifts around another commitment, we will build a schedule that works — what matters
to us is reliability and patient experience.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients across the urgent care spectrum (all ages / [adults and
- children ages X+])
- Perform minor procedures: laceration repair, I&D, splinting, foreign body removal
- Conduct occupational health services including DOT physicals (certification a plus — or
- we’ll fund your certification)
- Order and interpret on-site diagnostics (X-ray, labs, EKG)
- Document efficiently in our EMR with support from an on-site Medical Assistant
- For NP/PA/AP candidates: practice under a written collaborative arrangement with our
- collaborating physician — fully established and provided by us
What We’re Looking For
- Active Missouri license (MD, DO, APRN-FNP, PA-C, or Assistant Physician) — or
- eligibility with licensure in process
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal
- Medicine, or equivalent certification for NP/PA
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
- BLS required; ACLS/PALS a plus
- Urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred — new graduates
- welcome to apply; mentorship and on-site physician collaboration available
- Comfortable working independently with MA support in a walk-in setting
Compensation & What We Offer
- Competitive base plus per-patient productivity bonus — you share directly in the
- volume you generate, with uncapped upside as our newest location grows
- Rate commensurate with credentials and experience; full transparency on the structure
- before you commit
- On-site Medical Assistant support every shift
- Malpractice coverage provided
- No overnight shifts — clinic hours only
- Collaborative agreement, credentialing, and enrollment handled entirely by our in-house
- team — we get you seeing patients fast
- Ownership that answers the phone: direct line to decision-makers, no layers of
- corporate
Schedule
Clinic operating hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM [adjust per location]. Weekend
availability a plus but not required. Tell us the days you want — we are building schedules
now.

Physician Assistant Jobs in St. Louis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a physician assistant job in St. Louis?
Target St. Louis's large academic medical systems, regional health networks, and specialty practices in the Central West End and Clayton, which consistently post the most openings. Candidates with urgent care, orthopedics, or emergency medicine experience have an edge here given how those practices are distributed across the metro. Building connections through clinical rotations at St. Louis's teaching hospitals also opens doors that cold applications often don't.
Which companies hire physician assistants in St. Louis?
Employers hiring physician assistants in St. Louis right now include Washington University in St. Louis, Mercy, and BJC HealthCare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local market is anchored by large academic medical centers, multispecialty clinic groups, and community health organizations spread across the city and inner suburbs.
Are there remote physician assistant jobs in St. Louis?
Yes, but with clear limits, since most physician assistant work is hands-on and requires in-person patient contact. About 0% of physician assistant openings tied to St. Louis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to cluster in telehealth triage, utilization review, and care management roles rather than clinical practice.
How can I get a physician assistant job in St. Louis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in St. Louis is through community health centers, urgent care networks, and federally qualified health centers in underserved neighborhoods, which regularly hire new graduates. Entry-level roles in hospital float pools and outpatient primary care clinics also give new PAs broad exposure quickly. Completing rotations locally at a St. Louis program and staying visible in those networks gives candidates a meaningful head start.
Which industries hire the most physician assistants in St. Louis?
The sectors hiring the most physician assistants in St. Louis are Education and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
