Our Data, Digital, & Analytics (DDA) team is at the heart of this mission, partnering with the Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs (CMG) organization to turn data, analytics, and AI/ML into fast, high-impact decisions.
The Insights & Analytics (I&A) Product Suite team builds scalable, enterprise-wide product solutions that eliminate silos and give CMG teams a unified view of customers, actions, and outcomes—serving as a trusted advisor with a clear focus on measurable results. The I&A Product Suite team is organized across four pillars: 360 Insights, Forecasting, Targeting & Recommendation, and Measurement & Optimization.

We are looking for a visionary, highly strategic and technical Business Product Manager (Director-level) to join our Insights & Analytics product suite within the Forecasting pillar. In this role, you will be the domain expert translating complex pharmaceutical forecasting dynamics into a scalable, modern forecasting products and platform. You will lead the evolution of our Commercial Forecasting ecosystem, moving our organization from a fragmented and semi-manual process across multiple tools, into a unified, predictive, and data-driven forecasting product/platform that enhances transparency, accuracy, and modeling agility. You will lead a cross-functional team spanning product activation, end-user champions, data science, AI/ML, and technology (RDT/IT) to bring these products to life and bridge the gap between forecasting tools, process, strategy, technology and our forecasters.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Partner with the Business Product Owner and/or Executive Director of Product Suite to support the definition of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for forecasting products in your remit
- Translate deep pharmaceutical and forecasting domain knowledge into scalable forecasting solutions that will enable strategic investment decision making at the brand and portfolio level to drive top line growth, while simultaneously reimagining our approach to forecasting transparency, accuracy, fluency, and efficiency
Product Development & Execution:
- Manage advanced data and analytics products through their full lifecycle: from initial ideation and complex requirement definition to launch, scaling, and ongoing performance optimization.
- Partner closely with Technical Product Managers, Data Leads, Data Scientists, and IT engineering to steer the development, deployment, and optimization of sophisticated analytical models, API service layers, and intuitive UI/UX capabilities.
- In close partnership with business activation teams, oversee end-to-end business process mapping, user feedback compilation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high-velocity feature rollouts and immediate end-user adoption.
- Establish robust agile operational standards, backlog management rigor, and reusable product templates to ensure seamless pull-through and efficient execution.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Work closely with Forecasters, Finance partners, Data Science, RDT/IT, Field Analytics, and Digital Experience teams to deliver comprehensive forecasting tools.
- Drive cross-functional consensus and actively evangelize the product’s strategic value proposition to executive stakeholders across diverse organizational channels.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, finance stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring delivery consistently aligns with user needs and organizational priorities.
- Champion a practice-based apprenticeship model, actively coaching, mentoring, and upskilling cross functional product teams including program managers, operations managers, and peers within the broader product community.
Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all laws, regulations, and policies governing Genentech's business activities.
