Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic Innovation Product Manager to join our Product Innovation Team within the larger Product Management team. This role will focus on exploring and validating new opportunities in digital trust, identity, artificial intelligence, big data analysis, and security through rapid prototyping, customer-focused experimentation, and close collaboration with internal teams to transition validated concepts into revenue generating production solutions.
What you will do
Innovation & Prototyping:
- Lead rapid prototyping initiatives for new digital trust solutions and features
- Design and conduct customer experiments to validate hypotheses and potential solutions, while partnering closely with the UX team.
- Create proof-of-concept demonstrations for customer presentations and feedback sessions.
- Utilize design thinking and lean startup methodologies to quickly iterate on ideas.
Customer Engagement:
- Conduct customer discovery interviews to understand pain points and opportunities.
- Present prototypes and concepts to customers for early feedback.
- Facilitate innovation workshops with key customers and partners.
- Document and synthesize customer feedback to inform product direction.
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Partner with Engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility of new concepts.
- Work closely with the UX Teams & Product Management to transition validated ideas into the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Sales and Solutions Architecture teams to identify customer opportunities.
- Engage with Marketing to develop compelling narratives for new innovations.
Innovation Process Management:
- Define and track success metrics for innovation experiments.
- Document learnings and insights from failed experiments.
- Maintain an innovation pipeline of ideas and concepts.
- Create and present business cases for promising innovations.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of cryptography and security protocols.
- Familiarity with API design and integration patterns.
- Experience with prototyping tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of agile development practices.
- Comfort with data analysis and experimentation frameworks.
What you will have
- 5+ years of experience in product management, innovation, or related field.
- Experience driving innovation and thriving in driving a path through ambiguity.
- Strong background in artificial intelligence, data analytics, cyber security, PKI, or identity management.
- Demonstrated experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation.
- Excellence in customer interview techniques and synthesis.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with digital trust solutions and PKI infrastructure.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, zero-trust architecture, or quantum computing.
- Experience with design thinking and lean startup methodologies.
- Background in software development or system architecture. Experience presenting to C-level executives and technical audiences.
