Entry Level Product Marketing Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level product marketing job?
Start by building a portfolio that shows you can position a product and understand a customer. Internship experience, class projects, or a self-directed case study where you analyze a real product launch all demonstrate readiness. Employers at this level look for clear writing, basic market research skills, and familiarity with tools like Figma or Google Analytics, not years on a resume.
Which companies hire entry level product marketings?
Companies hiring entry level product marketings right now include Meltwater, Meta, and TikTok, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of startups building out their first marketing function and established tech, consumer goods, and SaaS companies running structured new grad programs.
Are there remote entry level product marketing jobs?
Yes, though fully remote openings are more competitive at the junior level than in more senior roles. About 38% of entry level product marketing openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates willing to work on-site or in a hybrid arrangement will see a wider field of options and often faster hiring timelines.
Are these new grad product marketing jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles alongside other entry level positions. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and explicitly accepts internships, coursework, or a portfolio in place of full-time history. Look for language like 'recent graduates encouraged to apply' or 'no prior professional experience required.'
Which industries hire the most entry level product marketings?
Entry Level product marketing roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Electronics & Hardware, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Those sectors drive junior hiring because they launch new products frequently, rely on clear customer messaging to compete, and have enough marketing headcount to bring on people who are still building their skills.
