Entry Level Sales Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales job?
Focus on demonstrating coachability, communication skills, and any hands-on experience, whether from internships, campus organizations, or customer-facing part-time work. Tailor your resume to show results even at a small scale, like hitting a quota or growing a client list. Many entry level sales employers prioritize attitude and trainability over prior experience, so a confident interview performance carries significant weight.
Which companies hire entry level saless?
Companies hiring entry level saless right now include AutoZone, TCC Wireless, and Groundworks, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring covers both large enterprises running structured sales development programs and smaller companies looking for motivated junior reps ready to learn on the job.
Are there remote entry level sales jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up the majority at this level. About 20% of entry level sales openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with inside sales and software-focused roles most likely to offer location flexibility. Searching by work setting on Migrate Mate helps you filter to what fits your situation.
Are these new grad sales jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior sales roles alongside other entry level openings. A posting is typically new grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or coursework in place of full-time history, or explicitly invites candidates without prior professional sales experience. Look for language like "training provided" or "no experience required" as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level saless?
Entry Level sales roles concentrate in Automotive, Technology & Software, and Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they rely on high-volume sales pipelines and actively develop junior talent into account executives or territory managers through structured onboarding programs.
