Position Summary
The Manager, PBM Product Innovation plays a critical role in product growth and development by transforming data, market intelligence, and customer feedback into clear, actionable insights. This role partners closely with government services, sales, marketing, clinical, and account teams to articulate product value, support sales pipeline development, and ensure customer learnings inform future product enhancements.
Positioned at the intersection of product strategy and go-to-market execution, this role ensures products are clearly positioned, effectively communicated, and continuously improved based on real-world usage and feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Actionable Insights
- Analyze product performance, market trends, and customer data to generate insights that inform product strategy, prioritization, and go-to-market decisions.
- Translate complex data and product concepts into concise, actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support development of success metrics, dashboards, and reporting that track adoption, value realization, and growth opportunities.
Communicate Product Value
- Develop and maintain clear, compelling product messaging and value propositions tailored to internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Partner with product and marketing teams to translate product roadmaps and enhancements into customer-ready narratives.
- Support executive-level communication by distilling product strategy, performance, and outcomes into clear, impactful stories.
Support Sales Pipeline Development
- Enable sales teams with product insights, customer use cases, competitive positioning, and proof points that support pipeline creation and deal progression.
- Collaborate with sales enablement to support training, tools, and materials that reinforce product value throughout the sales cycle.
- Partner with product leadership to identify customer non-retention risk, upsell opportunities, and gaps in current product offering.
Incorporate Customer Feedback
- Establish structured feedback loops with sales, customer success, and clients to capture insights on product performance, unmet needs, and opportunities for improvement.
- Synthesize customer feedback and field insights into clear inputs for product management and roadmap planning.
- Advocate for customer-driven enhancements that improve usability, adoption, and overall product value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, sales, analytics, and operations teams to ensure alignment between product strategy and market execution.
- Support coordinated product launches and enhancements by ensuring readiness across messaging, insights, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as a connective point between market needs, customer experience, and product evolution.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, sales enablement, analytics, strategy, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, Medicare, PBM, health plan, or regulated industries.
- Demonstrated success supporting customer-facing client teams and account management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance data-driven insights and strategic judgment.

- Proven ability to synthesize data, customer insights, and product strategy into clear, actionable outputs.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent specialized training and relevant professional experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
