Job Description Summary
The “Machine” Product Specialist at Okuma America Corporation acts as the sales member who leads in creating sales tools for the Okuma Machine Tools and supporting events and training sessions where this expertise can help achieve greater results. This position ensures our Okuma and Distributor Sales forces have someone managing the product information needed to make them successful in engaging with customers and achieving the overall business plan.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Continued education on features and benefits of the Machines
- Develop Sales Tools used during training, customer visits, events and meetings.
- Content Development. Develop and perform Product Training for Distributor Sales staff
- Work with Analyst’s and Regional teams to determine market trends and create strategy.
- Evaluate and provide Competitive Analysis on Competitor Products
- Travel to Distributors to perform educational training
- Travel with distribution to support sales calls
- Travel to support Distributor Open houses and events
- Support OAC's open houses and events
- Weekly and Monthly Reporting on projects and travel
- Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices
- Performs other duties as assigned and explores opportunities to add value
Experience/Training/Education
- Trade or Tech School
- Associate Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial, or Business preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
