Role Profile
The Product Management team is a key business group working in collaboration with Marketing and Sales leaders to drive business strategies and execution of P&L commitments. Product Specialists execute product and offer strategies to maximize value and understand our positioning in these areas against competition. This is a fast-paced and diverse role which also serves as a business interface with manufacturing, technology, supply chain and other supporting functions to deliver world-class solutions/products and services to our customers around the world.
We are looking for candidates who are based in Kingsport, TN.
Role Tasks & Responsibilities
- Internal Commercialization: Contributes to the commercialization process for new products, new raw materials, and new package types. Enable launch of innovation portfolio products through internal commercialization process.
- Partner with the Product Managers to understand competitive intelligence, provide cost analysis, assist with pricing decisions, and map price/volume tradeoffs to maximize value
- Vendor management: Work with procurement to drive new vendor set ups. Coordinate with Integrated Planner, marketing, technology and procurement to ensure raw materials are procured in timely fashion for manufacturing trials, minimizing delivery cost. Support Product Manager and AMS to qualify alternate sources of supply of key raw materials.
- Supply Chain Set up Strategy: Work with supply chain and logistics for scale up including warehouses, packaging for new product launch & market entry/expansions
- Internal Manufacturing/Supply Planning: Work with stream team and product manager to plan, track and coordinate material manufacturing to match inventory to global needs.
- Tolling & Scale up (External Manufacturing/Supply Planning): Work with regional AMS team, technology, and product manager to plan, track and coordinate successful external production.
- Sample Tracking: Manage timely delivery of samples to customers globally
- Cost Analysis: Provide detailed product cost analysis including raw materials, energy, conversion, distribution cost and tariffs.
- Manufacturing, Storage, Quality & Regulatory compliance: Coordinate with Quality Assurance, PSRA and other relevant groups to ensure manufacturing facilities meet quality and regulatory requirements including cGMP requirements.
- Project Management: Drive cadence of meetings, clarify owners/next steps, and escalate decisions quickly
- Agreements: Manage routing and completion of NDA, rebate, and KPD requests and alert team of upcoming contract expirations
- Complete the monthly Product Management report to global sales team
- Update quarterly cost curve reports and biannual currency adjustments

Required Education & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, economics, science, or related fields
- 3+ years relevant prior business experience (e.g. sales, marketing, product management, pricing, operations and/or supply chain) preferred
- Complex project leadership experience and capability
