Our Plant City, FL location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Plant City, FL location is part of our beverage division and specializes in distillation and flavor products for our Kerry customers and brands. We are producing dried crystals from fruits such as honey, mango and pineapple. This close knit team supports each other as they produce quality results for our customers.
What You'll Do:
As a Production Operator you'll operate continuous-belt, vacuum technology, unique in the industry, is a very gentle, low-heat drying technology. As a team member, you'll join a fast‑paced, high‑tech production team where safety, quality, and teamwork matter. In this role blending or packaging, you’ll run and monitor production equipment in a modern aseptic beverage facility—keeping lines moving efficiently while meeting Kerry’s high standards.
You’ll set up equipment, monitor quality, troubleshoot minor issues, support changeovers, and keep your work area clean and organized. This is a hands‑on role for someone who likes working with machines, solving problems, and being part of a team that produces high‑quality products every day.
What We Look For:
- High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older
- 1 year of Food or chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- 6 months of prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred
- Reliable attendance is important for team operations
- Must be self-motivated and conscientious
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems
- Ability to complete certification requirements
- Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred
What We Offer:
The pay range for this position is $18.00-$26.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
