Position Summary

Brella Beverage is seeking a precise, detail-oriented Production Technician to support daily beverage manufacturing and batching operations across our facilities. This role sits at the intersection of production line execution and batch preparation — you will operate line equipment, accurately weigh and blend ingredients, prepare batches according to client formulas, and ensure every product that leaves the line meets potency, quality, and regulatory standards. Key ResponsibilitiesBatching & Blending

• Precisely inspect, stage, weigh, and blend ingredients and beverage components according to Brella SOPs, client product formulas, and batch records
• Pre-weigh, blend, and prepare infusion components and beverage bases for production line filling
• Ensure all batch preparations are completed on schedule to support production line demand without holding up the fill line
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on in-process results and batch variances
• Communicate batch status, variances, and readiness to production supervisors in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all tanks are properly labelled
• Ensure batching area and tanks are properly cleared using company standards
• Accurately document lot numbers, quantities, expiration dates, and formula records for all production runs

Beverage Production

• Operate production line equipment to produce Brella’s beverage products in accordance with batch records, SOPs, and quality standards
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every run
• Report equipment issues, line stoppages, or quality deviations promptly to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout and at end of each shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area at all times
• Complete all required sanitation documentation and logs

Inventory, Packaging, & Labeling

• Ensure all finished products are properly filled, capped, labeled, and packaged per product specifications — ensuring quality standards are met
• Perform visual inspections to catch and remove defective or non-conforming product
• Stage packaged goods for shipment or storage in designated areas
• Handle materials safely and in accordance with storage and handling requirements
• Operate forklift to move and stage ingredients and materials following all safety procedures

Team Collaboration & Safety

• Work closely with production operators, supervisors, and cross-functional team members to keep the line moving
• Coordinate with production operators and supervisors to ensure materials are staged and ready ahead of line requirements
• Communicate clearly and proactively about production status, issues, and needs
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance
• Make safety the number one priority in every task — immediately escalate any observed safety issue
• Follow all plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, food/beverage production, or related industrial environment
• Experience with weighing, measuring, or mixing operations in a production setting preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Good verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency required
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a reliable team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude
• Ability to commute to Chicago, IL 60612 (required); candidates must be within a 25-mile radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in beverage production, food manufacturing, or cannabis processing
• Familiarity with packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, or labelers
• Experience with batching, blending, or formulation in a production setting
• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience with inventory management or basic shipping and receiving processes
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar digital tools
