In this role you will:
- Can safely and effectively operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high speed packaging and processing equipment to produce Company products
- Meet all safety expectations including wearing the required personal protective equipment and follow all safe practices
- Work in a team environment and flow to the work and assist others
- Collect and analyze data using skills in applied math
- Operate a computer keyboard to input and access data
- Perform basic and routine maintenance activities
- Able to work outside normal scheduled hours and OT to perform required maintenance
- Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills etc.
- Can safely operate tow motor and maintain proper training requirements
- Perform other duties that are within skill capability
- Meet Company's expectations of its Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other

Below is what we’re looking for:
Education
Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED
Experience
Previous work experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
Other
- Have good attendance record and able to comply with attendance policy
- Demonstrated background of mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to work on an 8-hour shift on a 7-day schedule per week
- Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and perform all sanitation duties
- Able to operate, perform “basic and routine maintenance,” and troubleshoot equipment which includes the following physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms and various packaging and processing equipment
- Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be a self-directed worker, capable of working in a team environment to solve problems and implement solutions
- Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents (i.e. equipment manuals, SOP's, policies, etc.)
- Qualified candidates will be required to pass an applied math and a technical aptitude test
