Program Coordinator Jobs in Cincinnati: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a program coordinator job in Cincinnati?
Target Cincinnati's largest hiring sectors first: Uptown's hospital and university corridor, the nonprofit cluster anchored around Over-the-Rhine and Downtown, and the region's growing workforce development organizations. Candidates who combine project coordination experience with sector-specific knowledge, whether in healthcare administration, social services, or education, stand out locally. Tailoring your application to each employer's mission and showing familiarity with Cincinnati's community landscape gives you a concrete edge.
Which companies hire program coordinators in Cincinnati?

(OH), Brookdale Senior Living, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Cincinnati's mix of large health systems, regional nonprofits, and public-sector agencies means openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and missions.
Are there remote program coordinator jobs in Cincinnati?
Yes, though availability depends on the role type. Program coordinator positions that are primarily desk-based, such as grant coordination or administrative program support, tend to be more remote-friendly than hands-on community or clinical roles. About 0% of program coordinator openings tied to Cincinnati are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the highest concentration of flexible arrangements found in corporate and education-adjacent roles.
How can I get a program coordinator job in Cincinnati with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Cincinnati is through AmeriCorps programs, university administrative assistant roles, or coordinator-adjacent positions at area nonprofits like those affiliated with United Way of Greater Cincinnati. These organizations regularly hire entry-level candidates and provide the project management and stakeholder communication exposure employers expect. Volunteering with Cincinnati's neighborhood development organizations or local health systems also builds the documented coordination experience hiring managers look for.
