Are there remote project management analyst jobs in Cambridge?
Yes, though availability depends on the role's scope, since project management analyst work is moderately remote-friendly when it centers on reporting, data analysis, and coordination, but more on-site when tied to lab operations or in-person team oversight. About 38% of project management analyst openings tied to Cambridge are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the strongest remote options in technology and consulting firms operating out of East Cambridge and Alewife.
How can I get a project management analyst job in Cambridge with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Cambridge is through coordinator or junior analyst roles at biotech and pharmaceutical companies in Kendall Square, which regularly hire candidates with transferable organizational and analytical skills even without formal project management experience. Targeting research operations, clinical project coordination, or program support roles at Cambridge-based institutions gives you the local exposure employers recognize. Building familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet, Jira, or Microsoft Project and completing a CAPM certification strengthens your application significantly.
