Position Summary:
As a Quality Auditor in the Manufacturing Automotive Industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production of high-quality automotive parts. You will be responsible for auditing parts on both the Production Stamping Press side and Robotic Weld Production side to maintain compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Essential Duties:
In keeping with the policies and procedures of the organization, along with all relevant legislative authority, the Quality Auditor will:
· Conduct scheduled audits of automotive parts on the Production Stamping Press side and Robotic Weld Production side to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
· Inspect parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformity to gages.
· Identify and document non-conforming parts and initiate corrective actions to address root causes, and when necessary halt production.
· Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive measures to improve product quality.
· Maintain accurate records of inspection results, audit findings, and corrective actions taken.
· Communicate quality issues and trends to relevant stakeholders, including production managers and quality control teams.
· Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
· Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality improvement initiatives.
· Monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
· Cut parts to prep for Cut & Etch quality testing.
Education and/or Experience:
The Quality Auditor will have at least 2 years of Manufacturing experience, combined with a high school diploma or equivalent qualification and relevant certifications in quality management or auditing (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) are advantageous.
· Proven experience as a Quality Auditor or Quality Inspector in the automotive manufacturing industry.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and trends to drive continuous improvement.
· Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and automotive quality standards (e.g., TS 16949).
-Experience with weld destruct and completion of push outs.
· Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis and reporting.
· Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
· Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes, including stamping and welding operations.
· Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality issues.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Able communicate professionally, verbally and in writing with all levels of team members and customers (if required).
