Radiology Technologist Jobs in Miami: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a radiology technologist job in Miami?
Focus your search on Miami's Health District and Coral Gables, where hospital systems and outpatient imaging centers concentrate most of their hiring. Large academic medical centers and multispecialty groups in Aventura and Doral also post regularly. Candidates with CT or MRI modality experience stand out in Miami's competitive market, and bilingual Spanish skills give a real edge given the patient population throughout Miami-Dade County.
Which companies hire radiology technologists in Miami?
Employers hiring radiology technologists in Miami right now include Jackson Health System, Baptist Health South Florida, and Community Medical, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Miami's hiring mix leans heavily toward large hospital networks, freestanding imaging centers, and urgent care chains serving a dense and diverse metro population.
Are there remote radiology technologist jobs in Miami?
Remote opportunities are limited for radiology technologists because the core work requires operating imaging equipment on-site with patients. About 0% of radiology technologist openings tied to Miami are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those roles tend to involve teleradiology quality review, scheduling coordination, or radiation safety compliance work rather than hands-on imaging.
How can I get a radiology technologist job in Miami with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Miami is a clinical externship or graduate placement at one of the area's larger hospital systems in the Health District, where imaging departments regularly onboard new graduates. Urgent care networks and freestanding imaging centers in Doral and Hialeah are known to hire entry-level radiographers for general X-ray work, which builds the modality breadth needed to move into CT or MRI positions.
Which industries hire the most radiology technologists in Miami?
Miami radiology technologist roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Miami's status as a regional hub for medical tourism, a large retiree population, and a dense network of specialty clinics in Miami-Dade County drives sustained imaging demand across all of those sectors.
