Radiology Technologist Jobs in Cincinnati: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a radiology technologist job in Cincinnati?
Cincinnati's strongest hiring comes from large hospital systems anchored in the Clifton and Medical Center neighborhoods, along with a growing network of outpatient imaging centers and specialty practices in the suburbs. Candidates with cross-training in CT, MRI, or fluoroscopy stand out in this market. Applying directly to health systems and imaging groups concentrated around the University of Cincinnati Health corridor gives you the best early traction.
Which companies hire radiology technologists in Cincinnati?

The local market is anchored by large nonprofit health systems and regional specialty imaging providers with multiple Cincinnati-area campuses.
Are there remote radiology technologist jobs in Cincinnati?
Yes, though opportunities are limited since most radiology technologist work requires hands-on patient contact and on-site equipment. About 0% of radiology technologist openings tied to Cincinnati are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, skewing toward teleradiology support, image review coordination, and scheduling roles rather than direct imaging positions.
How can I get a radiology technologist job in Cincinnati with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Cincinnati is completing a clinical rotation at one of the area's hospital-affiliated radiologic technology programs, then applying for tech assistant or limited-scope imaging roles at outpatient clinics and urgent care centers. Employers in suburban Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky often hire new graduates for lower-volume sites before moving them to busier hospital campuses, making those locations a practical starting point.

Cincinnati's dense concentration of academic medical centers, regional hospital networks, and outpatient imaging groups drives consistent hiring volume across those sectors throughout the year.
