Real Estate Jobs in Charlotte: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a real estate job in Charlotte?
The strongest hiring in Charlotte comes from residential brokerages serving fast-growing neighborhoods like South End and NoDa, commercial property firms active in Uptown and Midtown, and property management companies tied to the city's apartment and mixed-use boom. Candidates with Charlotte market knowledge, experience closing in competitive suburban corridors like Ballantyne or Steele Creek, and familiarity with new construction pipelines stand out most to local employers.
Which companies hire real estates in Charlotte?
Companies currently hiring real estates in Charlotte include The Trulane, Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate, and U.S. Bank, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Charlotte's market includes a mix of national franchise brokerages, regional commercial firms, institutional property management companies, and homebuilders actively expanding in the metro's outer corridors.
Are there remote real estate jobs in Charlotte?
Yes, though only for select roles, since most real estate work is inherently on-site. About 39% of real estate openings tied to Charlotte are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated in transaction coordination, real estate marketing, and back-office analyst positions rather than agent or property management roles.
How can I get a real estate job in Charlotte with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Charlotte is a licensed agent position with a residential brokerage that offers structured training, common at the franchise offices concentrated in Ballantyne, Myers Park, and Lake Norman. Property management companies also regularly hire leasing consultants with no prior experience. Familiarity with Charlotte's high-growth submarkets and strong local networking through the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association give entry-level candidates a concrete edge.
Which industries hire the most real estates in Charlotte?
Most real estate openings in Charlotte sit in Law & Legal Services, Banking & Financial Services, and Consulting & Professional Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Charlotte's ongoing population growth, major corporate relocations to Uptown and Ballantyne, and a sustained apartment construction cycle across South End and North Charlotte keep demand across those sectors consistently elevated.
