Responsibilities:
This candidate is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support by assisting with data entry, property tax bill retrieval, document organization, and general tracking of property tax obligations. This role is responsible for ensuring property tax information is accurately recorded, organized, and maintained to support timely payments and compliance. In addition, it involves generating reports and assisting with special projects.
- Update Property Tax database with accurate tax assessment values and related information.
- Retrieve property tax bills from county websites, mail, and third-party portals.
- Optimize and sustain tax database to guarantee efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with maintaining property tax calendars and due date tracking.
- Upload, organize, and maintain electronic tax bill files and supporting documentation.
- Ensure AP departments provide proof of tax payments.
- Remind hospitals and AP departments of upcoming payment due dates.
- Track refunds across multiple tax mediums, including but not limited to property tax.
- Assist department with special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with peers, and other departments.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Office applications.
- Ability to read and understand property tax bills and assessment notices. Preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to resolve basic to intermediary problems independently.
- Time management skills, self-motivated, well-organized individual.
- Competence in creating and analyzing basic reports.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Preferably in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $23.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
