Entry Level Recruiter Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level recruiter job?
Start by highlighting any experience involving people, communication, or coordination, even if it came from internships, campus organizations, or customer-facing jobs. Employers hiring at this level typically look for strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or sourcing tools gives candidates a practical edge, even without a full year of professional recruiting experience.
Which companies hire entry level recruiters?
Companies hiring entry level recruiters right now include Jobot, Robert Half, and Maxim Healthcare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Staffing agencies, high-growth technology firms, healthcare systems, and large retail and logistics companies tend to hire most actively at this level because of their continuous, high-volume hiring needs.
Are there remote entry level recruiter jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options exist at the entry level, though on-site roles remain common. About 36% of entry level recruiter openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated in industries with distributed workforces or established virtual hiring operations. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you see which current openings match your preferred arrangement.
Are these new grad recruiter jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior recruiter roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or volunteer coordination work in place of full-time history, or values a strong portfolio showing sourcing, outreach, or campus recruiting activity. Look for language like 'no prior recruiting experience required' or 'will train' as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level recruiters?
Entry Level recruiter roles concentrate in Staffing & Recruiting, Consulting & Professional Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive high-volume hiring at the junior level because rapid headcount growth, frequent turnover, or regulatory staffing requirements create a steady need for recruiters who can be trained and developed from the ground up.
