You'll lead and develop a talented team of Product Managers, partner directly with customers to understand their biggest challenges, and collaborate with leaders across the organization to deliver products that drive meaningful business outcomes. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including hiring, mentoring and team management.
Ability to set a product vision and strategy and to translate it into a concrete product roadmap.
Experience in developing and launching successful payment processing applications or similar applications.
Experience in leading platform-as-a-service products, prioritizing and building APIs that empower and support other internal teams.
Experience in the payments industry, or with a payment solution, including online/ecommerce, card present/POS, and recurring/card on file payments.
Experience with creating and integrating to payment APIs/SDKs, including hosted payment options, NFC/EMV, and P2PE is a plus.
Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Deep interest in user experience, creating and analyzing products.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
We Do Have A Few Requirements To Check
Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using an Agile development methodology

Tips for Your Remote Director, Product Management Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote director, product management openings from across the U.S. in one place. Check it regularly and apply directly to roles that match your scope, industry, and product focus before postings close.
Signal async leadership in every application
Remote employers want evidence you can drive product decisions without in-person access. Highlight written strategy docs, async stakeholder updates, and roadmap artifacts you've owned. Concrete written work samples outperform verbal claims every time.
Build a portfolio of shipped remote product work
Remote hiring managers at distributed companies look for proof you've delivered remotely, not just that you're open to it. Case studies, public product teardowns, or documented launch outcomes give them the evidence they need to move fast on your application.
Prepare for remote-native interview formats
Distributed teams often run panel interviews over video with written take-homes, not whiteboard sessions. Practice concise written answers to strategy prompts, and be ready to present roadmap decisions clearly in a shared-doc or slide format under time pressure.
Remote Director, Product Management Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote director, product management job?
Target remote-first companies and distributed product teams, since they're built to support senior ICs and leaders working asynchronously. Remote employers screen for written communication skills, strong cross-functional influence without in-person presence, and proven ability to drive roadmap decisions independently. Candidates who show documented examples of async collaboration, stakeholder alignment over video and written channels, and outcome-focused product leadership consistently stand out.
Which companies hire remote director, product managements?
Employers currently hiring remote director, product managements include Housecall Pro, Five9, and Motive, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Most are remote-first software companies, distributed SaaS platforms, and enterprise technology firms whose product teams operate across multiple time zones.
Can you get a remote director, product management job with no experience?
Yes, but remote director-level roles are competitive and expect demonstrated independence from day one, which makes early experience harder to skip. Candidates with a strong portfolio of shipped products, measurable business outcomes, and visible async leadership, such as public roadmaps or open product writing, can offset thinner formal experience. Starting in a remote senior PM role first builds the remote work credibility directors need.
Do you need a degree for remote director, product management jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh product outcomes, leadership scope, and cross-functional influence far more heavily than a specific credential. A history of launching products, managing PM teams, and owning strategy at the organizational level carries more weight in most remote hiring processes than where or whether you went to school.
Which industries hire the most remote director, product managements?
Most remote director, product management openings sit in Technology & Software, Insurance, and Marketing & Advertising, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors rely on distributed product teams and need senior product leaders who can align engineering, design, and business stakeholders without a shared physical office.
