By modeling best practices and supporting implementation with integrity, the MSP helps teachers experience the value of our solutions in ways that enhance their instruction, simplify their work, and positively impact student learning.
The School Year MSP role is a “220-day assignment” position (details below), reports to the Director of Professional Learning in their region, is content-specific (Math, ELA, or World Languages), and works collaboratively within and across the department to best meet the needs of our customer partners.

- Demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying risks and developing effective action plans for resolution, making routine decisions within established guidelines and escalating complex or novel issues to the Director of Professional Learning.
- Collaboratively setting partnership goals (either at the school or teacher level), collecting and analyzing data to track progress, and using that data to inform ongoing work.
- Participating in partnership meetings, when appropriate, to discuss implementation data and determine next steps.
Delivering High-Quality Professional Learning

- Delivering intentional and impactful, job-embedded professional learning (formal coaching cycles, demonstration lessons, co-teaching, lesson planning, PLC facilitation, etc.).
- Refining workshops and learning experiences, when appropriate, to meet the unique needs and contexts of our partners.
- Upholding Carnegie Learning’s core commitments in every interaction—approaching educators with belief in their potential, honoring their voices and expertise, empowering their ownership of implementation, and inspiring progress and purpose in their growth.
- Leveraging data to drive teacher growth, inform ongoing support, and track partnership progress.
Operations & Documentation
- Following the Professional Learning process in all aspects of delivery: planning, confirming, communicating, executing, and following up.
- Ensuring timely completion of all documentation, including digital sign-ins, workshop feedback, coaching and support logs, courtesy emails, coaching feedback forms, and other deliverables.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the Deliverables Doc, including forecasting deliverables and managing your calendar.

Tips for Your Remote School Nurse Job Search
Prove you can work without on-site supervision
Remote school nurse employers want evidence of independent clinical judgment. Document specific cases where you managed student health issues without immediate in-person backup, resolved situations through written communication, or coordinated care across multiple parties asynchronously.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote school nurse openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your license, specialty, and schedule and apply directly before postings fill.
Build fluency with telehealth and EHR platforms
Remote school nurse employers screen for hands-on experience with electronic health records and virtual care tools. Name the specific platforms you have used, such as your district's EHR system or any telehealth software, so hiring managers can match your skills to their stack immediately.
Prepare for asynchronous interview stages
Many remote school nurse hiring processes include written case scenarios or recorded video interviews before any live call. Practice describing your clinical reasoning in writing clearly and concisely, because remote employers are evaluating your communication skills alongside your nursing knowledge.
Clarify remote work expectations before accepting
Remote school nurse roles vary in how much real-time student interaction they require. Before accepting an offer, confirm your expected hours of live availability, the documentation turnaround expectations, and whether you need to hold licensure in specific states.
Remote School Nurse Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote school nurse job?
Target companies that deliver health services through distributed or virtual teams, such as telehealth providers, digital health platforms, and health management organizations that support student populations remotely. Remote employers screen heavily for self-direction, clear written communication, and comfort with asynchronous workflows. Candidates who can document remote clinical experience, demonstrate proficiency with electronic health record systems, and show strong independent judgment stand out most.
Which companies hire remote school nurses?
Remote school nurse roles are posted by Emory University, Stride, and Liberty University and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These include remote-first health services companies, distributed student wellness programs, and virtual care organizations operating across multiple states.
Can you get a remote school nurse job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level school nurse roles are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently from day one without on-site supervision. Companies running virtual health programs sometimes hire newer nurses for coordinator or case management roles. Showing comfort with telehealth platforms, strong written communication samples, and any remote clinical or administrative work helps open those doors.
Do you need a degree for remote school nurse jobs?
Usually, yes. Most remote school nurse roles require at least an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing plus an active RN license, and some employers require a school nursing credential. That said, remote employers also weigh demonstrated clinical judgment, experience with student health documentation, and the ability to manage cases independently through digital tools alongside formal credentials.
Which industries hire the most remote school nurses?
Remote school nurse roles concentrate in Education, Agriculture & Farming, and Technology & Software, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors hire remotely because they operate distributed student health programs, virtual wellness platforms, or multi-site care management teams that need clinicians working independently across locations.
