At Origin, working with us isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to transform the way care is delivered to women. Every day, we’re building a company that’s elevating the standard of care for thousands now, with our sights set on reaching millions in the future.
This past year, we partnered tirelessly with insurance companies to break down barriers to care. As a result, we’re now in-network for over 50 million people nationwide, making pelvic floor and whole-body physical therapy more accessible and affordable than ever before. It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s just the beginning.
If you share our passion for creating accessible, life-changing care, we’d love to have you on our team. Together, we can continue making a difference for those who need it most.
Here’s what you can expect when you join us.
Social Media & Creator Strategy (Contract)
~20 hrs/week | $40/hr | Fully remote (ability to capture content in clinic a plus)
Project Overview We're looking for a creative, tuned-in independent contractor to provide social media strategy, content production, and community engagement services for Origin’s Instagram and TikTok channels. You'll help us grow our presence, deepen community engagement, and amplify the pelvic health conversation. You have a high bar for quality, evidence-based content, are a natural community builder, and believe millions of people need to learn about pelvic floor therapy.
Project engagement will kick off on 08/03/2026.
1. Scope of Services
The Consultant will be responsible for delivering the following professional outcomes:
- Social Media Management: Oversee and manage Origin's Instagram and TikTok accounts.
- Content Production: Produce a consistent volume of on-brand video and static content that educates, validates, and builds trust with our audience.
- Creative Development: Write copy and develop design briefs for our freelance designer; design some assets yourself.
- Clinical Coaching: Partner with internal experts to translate complex clinical concepts into social-first formats. Consultant will provide guidance on scripting and on-camera presence for expert-led content.
- Community Management: Manage daily community interactions and respond to DMs and comments within 24 hours on weekdays. Proactively engage with relevant creators, brands, and clinicians.
- Influencer Pipeline Development: Identify and vet potential creator partners, delivering curated recommendations to the Marketing Lead for contracting.
- Performance Analysis: Share a monthly readout documenting content performance, engagement trends, and data-driven strategic recommendations.
2. Consultant Qualifications
- Experience managing and growing engaged communities across Instagram and TikTok.
- Ability to understand and translate Origin's brand voice — authoritative and evidence-based, but also warm, uplifting, and judgment-free — to social.
- Deep understanding of what social platforms value: authentic expertise over marketing speak.
- Proven track record spotting trends and making fast, confident calls on what's right for the brand.
- Comfort picking up clinical concepts quickly and translating them for a general audience without losing accuracy.
- Proficiency in mobile-first video and static asset production, editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Figma, or similar), and social platform analytics.
- Ability to manage an independent project workflow with minimal supervision and high accountability for results.
3. Logistics
- Tools & Equipment: The Consultant is responsible for providing all tools necessary for the project, including hardware (smartphone/camera) and software (e.g., CapCut, or equivalent editing suites).
- Scheduling: This is a project-based engagement estimated at 20 hours per week. The Consultant is free to set their own hours and location, provided all professional deadlines and community response windows are met.
- Site Access: While the role is remote, the Consultant may have access to Origin clinics in Texas for voluntary content capture sessions as project needs dictate.

Tips for Your Remote Social Media Strategy Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote social media strategy openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through non-remote postings or irrelevant locations.
Build a portfolio that proves remote readiness
Document campaigns with before-and-after metrics, show content calendars you managed without supervision, and include async deliverables like written briefs or strategy decks. Remote employers want evidence you produce results without daily check-ins.
Show platform depth on your application materials
Name the specific tools you know, such as Sprout Social, Later, or Meta Business Suite, and describe how you used them to plan, schedule, and report on content. Generic mentions of social media experience won't stand out in a remote applicant pool.
Prepare for async-first remote interviews
Many remote social media roles screen candidates through written exercises or recorded video responses before a live call. Practice articulating your strategy decisions clearly in writing and get comfortable presenting campaign rationale without back-and-forth prompting.
Target distributed teams by their communication culture
Remote social media strategists thrive on teams that document decisions in writing and use tools like Slack, Notion, or Asana. Look for job postings that mention async collaboration or documentation practices, as those teams are built to support remote contributors from day one.
Remote Social Media Strategy Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote social media strategy job?
Target remote-first companies and distributed teams that rely on social media as a core growth channel, such as SaaS brands, direct-to-consumer e-commerce companies, and digital media publishers. Remote employers screen for strong async written communication, self-directed project management, and platform fluency across tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native scheduling tools. A portfolio showing measurable content outcomes and the ability to collaborate across time zones gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire remote social media strategists?
Employers currently hiring remote social media strategists include Precision AQ, Precision Medicine, and LinkedIn, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote openings for this role concentrate at remote-first technology companies, distributed e-commerce brands, and digital agencies that operate without a central office.
Can you get a remote social media strategy job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level roles are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently from day one without in-person oversight. You can strengthen your candidacy by building a portfolio of real brand accounts, freelance projects, or spec campaigns that show results. Remote-first startups and small e-commerce brands are the most likely to hire early-career strategists who can demonstrate platform knowledge and async communication skills.
Do you need a degree for remote social media strategy jobs?
Not always. Remote employers in this field weigh a demonstrable portfolio, platform certifications, and measurable campaign results heavily alongside or instead of a formal degree. Showing you can grow an audience, manage a content calendar, and report on performance data independently matters more to most remote hiring teams than your educational background.
Which industries hire the most remote social media strategists?
The sectors hiring the most remote social media strategists are Technology & Software, Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors favor remote hiring because their teams are already distributed and their audiences live entirely online.
