Take the next step in your training to develop skills to address the research-practice gap in substance use prevention through postdoctoral training with a focus on prevention science, addiction, implementation science, digital health, and quantitative methods. Emphases include implementation science for the adoption and sustainability of preventive interventions in regular service delivery settings, interventions to reduce health disparities in vulnerable populations, and advanced quantitative research methods in prevention science. In addition, trainees have the ability to work with research-practice partnerships, including practitioners and policymakers, actively addressing individual and societal problems related to substance use and addiction.
