- Work under the direct supervision of engineering staff and will be assigned to construction projects.
- Assist with construction inspection on storm sewer, roadway, asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, measuring quantities, documentation, maintaining records, survey, and other duties.
- Support design projects in preparation of plans, data collection, writing reports and computing quantities.
- Collect traffic data as well as inspection and maintenance of highway culverts and bridges.
- Position may require overtime, and out-of-town travel (typically within 60 miles of the office).
- In pursuit of a civil engineering degree.
- Reliable means of transportation to travel to office locations and project sites.
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
- Construction, municipal, roadway, traffic or structural experience is beneficial.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
