Restaurant Operations Management Jobs in Memphis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a restaurant operations management job in Memphis?
Start by targeting Memphis's highest-concentration hiring zones: Downtown around Beale Street and the South Main Arts District, the Overton Square dining corridor in Midtown, and the East Memphis commercial strip along Poplar Avenue. Multi-unit casual dining groups, hotel food and beverage operations, and entertainment-anchored venues drive the most openings. Candidates with P&L accountability, food cost control experience, and familiarity with high-volume Southern-style concepts stand out in this market.
Which companies hire restaurant operations managements in Memphis?
Companies currently hiring restaurant operations managements in Memphis include Cook Out Restaurants, Bojangles', and Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Memphis's hiring base skews toward regional hospitality groups, hotel brands with full-service dining programs, and locally rooted multi-concept operators rather than purely national chains.
Are there remote restaurant operations management jobs in Memphis?
Yes, but only partially. Restaurant operations management is inherently a floor-level role, so fully remote positions are rare. About 25% of restaurant operations management openings tied to Memphis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, concentrated in support functions like scheduling, vendor coordination, and reporting rather than direct kitchen or front-of-house oversight.
How can I get a restaurant operations management job in Memphis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Memphis is moving up through shift lead or assistant manager roles at the city's high-volume casual dining and entertainment venue operators clustered Downtown and in Midtown.
