Tyler Technologies is seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Sales Revenue Operations leader to lead the processes, analytics, forecasting, and sales effectiveness initiatives that support the company's growth objectives. This role will serve as a key partner to the EVP, Sales and sales leadership team, helping drive operational excellence, revenue predictability, and organizational alignment across the sales function.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, leadership capability, and operational expertise. They will transform sales data into actionable business insights, improve forecasting accuracy, establish meaningful performance metrics, and ensure the sales organization has the tools, messaging, and processes needed to consistently achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Sales Operations Leadership
- Lead the sales operations function, establishing scalable processes, operating rhythms, and performance management frameworks.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify risks and opportunities impacting revenue attainment and long-term growth.
- Develop recommendations and action plans based on business trends, market conditions, pipeline performance, and sales execution metrics.
- Build operational discipline and accountability across the sales organization.
Forecasting & Revenue Planning
- Own sales forecasting processes and deliver accurate short- and long-range revenue projections.
- Monitor pipeline health, sales velocity, conversion metrics, and performance trends.
- Provide leadership with forward-looking insights on revenue attainment and growth expectations.
- Establish forecasting methodologies that improve predictability and decision-making.
Analytics & Business Insights
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting frameworks.
- Translate complex sales data into actionable recommendations that influence business decisions.
- Analyze trends in performance, pipeline development, win rates, forecasting accuracy, and revenue growth.
- Create a culture of data-driven decision making throughout the sales organization.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Business Unit leaders to align revenue strategies and execution plans.
- Ensure sales leadership has the data, insights, and operational support needed to meet organizational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on sales performance and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success supporting revenue growth through sales operations and business performance management.
- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and analytics experience.
- Experience building executive reporting and performance dashboards.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in SaaS, software, technology, or public-sector technology organizations.
- Experience with CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, and business intelligence solutions.
- Experience leading both sales operations and sales enablement functions.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
