Mid Level Roofing Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level roofing job?
Position yourself around the scope you have already handled, not just time on the job. Highlight projects you led, materials you specified, and any crew coordination you managed. Employers at this level want to see that you can troubleshoot problems on a roof without calling for help, so lead your application with concrete examples of independent decision-making and completed work.
Which companies hire mid level roofings?
Companies hiring mid level roofings right now include Jobot, Advanced Roofing, and Tecta America, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a mix of regional roofing contractors, national commercial construction firms, and property maintenance companies managing large building portfolios.
Are there remote mid level roofing jobs?
Yes, though most roofing work is field-based by nature. About 4% of mid level roofing openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and these tend to be estimating, project management, or sales-adjacent roles rather than hands-on installation. If you have strong estimating or client-facing skills alongside your field experience, those positions are worth targeting.
How do I move up to a mid level roofing role?
The path from entry level to mid level roofing is built through expanding the complexity of work you take on. Early in your career, focus on mastering multiple roofing systems, learning how to read blueprints and job specs, and volunteering to lead small sections of a project. Demonstrating that you can manage materials, spot safety issues, and keep a crew on schedule turns years of experience into a genuine mid level profile.
Which industries hire the most mid level roofings?
Mid Level roofing roles concentrate in Staffing & Recruiting, Construction & Real Estate, and Medical Devices, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Those sectors drive consistent demand because they involve ongoing construction, renovation cycles, and facilities maintenance that require experienced roofers who can work independently across a range of project types.
