Sales And Marketing Specialist Jobs in Idaho: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales and marketing specialist in Idaho?
Most Idaho employers require a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications as a baseline for this role. There is no state-issued license or Idaho-specific certification required to work as a sales and marketing specialist. Building experience through internships with Boise-area technology firms or agriculture-linked businesses, and earning industry-recognized credentials such as Google Analytics or HubSpot certifications, strengthens a candidate's profile considerably in the Idaho market.
How much do sales and marketing specialists make in Idaho?
Sales and marketing specialists in Idaho earn a median of about $60,970 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,800 for the lowest 10% to over $127,660 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales and marketing specialists in Idaho?
Idaho sales and marketing specialist roles are posted by Wright Physical Therapy, Gymreapers, and Compass and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Idaho's mix of technology, healthcare, and food and agriculture employers creates consistent year-round demand for specialists who can support both B2B and consumer-facing campaigns.
Which Idaho cities have the most sales and marketing specialist jobs?
Boise, Meridian, and Idaho Falls account for the majority of sales and marketing specialist openings in Idaho. Boise drives the largest share of postings as the state's commercial and tech hub, with companies in software, healthcare, and financial services generating consistent demand, while Nampa and Idaho Falls see steady hiring tied to manufacturing, agriculture, and regional healthcare systems anchored in those communities.
Are there remote sales and marketing specialist jobs in Idaho?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales and marketing specialist work is largely desk-based and output-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 33% of sales and marketing specialist openings tied to Idaho are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have adopted flexible models for this role. Digital marketing, content strategy, and marketing analytics functions tend to have the highest share of fully remote positions.
How can I get hired as a sales and marketing specialist in Idaho with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or coordinator role with a Boise-area technology company, regional healthcare system, or agriculture-linked business where you can build a concrete campaign or sales-support portfolio. Employers like Micron Technology and St. Luke's Health System run structured internship programs that have historically converted to full-time marketing roles. Transitioning from adjacent positions such as customer service representative, sales associate, or administrative coordinator is common, and completing a free credential like Google Analytics Certification or a HubSpot marketing certificate gives candidates a measurable edge in Idaho interviews.
Where can I find and apply to sales and marketing specialist jobs in Idaho?
You can find and apply to sales and marketing specialist jobs in Idaho on Migrate Mate, which lists current Idaho openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, find roles that match your background and preferences, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
