Sales Intern Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales intern job in Phoenix?
Start by targeting Phoenix's highest-volume hiring sectors: software and SaaS companies clustered along Camelback Road, commercial real estate firms Downtown, and fintech and insurance employers concentrated in the Biltmore and Tempe corridors. Most Phoenix employers value CRM familiarity and outbound prospecting experience over GPA alone. Attending local events through the Greater Phoenix Chamber or ASU startup programming also puts you in front of hiring managers before roles are posted.
Which companies hire sales interns in Phoenix?
Employers hiring sales interns in Phoenix right now include ASM, Walgreens, and First Solar, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's mix of regional corporate headquarters, fast-growing SaaS startups, and large insurance and financial services firms means intern roles range from enterprise B2B to high-volume consumer sales depending on the employer.
Are there remote sales intern jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though remote availability is limited for sales intern roles since most positions involve in-person prospecting, shadowing, and team training. About 29% of sales intern openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with remote options most common in SaaS and inside sales roles where outreach is handled by phone and email rather than in the field.
How can I get a sales intern job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is targeting inside sales or business development representative intern roles at local SaaS and fintech companies, which routinely hire candidates with no prior sales history and provide structured training. ASU, Grand Canyon University, and Phoenix College career fairs connect students directly with Phoenix employers who hire interns specifically for development. A short course in Salesforce or HubSpot and a willingness to do outbound cold outreach noticeably strengthen any application.
Which industries hire the most sales interns in Phoenix?
The sectors hiring the most sales interns in Phoenix are Construction & Real Estate, Medical Devices, and Investment & Asset Management, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's role as a regional hub for financial services, commercial real estate, and a rapidly expanding technology corridor means demand for entry-level sales talent stays consistently high across those sectors throughout the year.
