Sales Manager Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales manager job in Phoenix?
Target Phoenix's highest-hiring sectors first: technology companies in Tempe and Scottsdale, healthcare and insurance firms concentrated in central Phoenix, and the financial services corridor along Camelback Road. Candidates with documented revenue growth, team leadership experience, and familiarity with enterprise or B2B sales cycles stand out locally. Networking through Phoenix-area chambers of commerce and industry associations also opens doors that applications alone don't.
Which companies hire sales managers in Phoenix?
Employers hiring sales managers in Phoenix right now include AutoZone, ASM, and Jobot, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix attracts a mix of large regional headquarters, national insurance and financial services firms, and fast-growing technology companies, all of which maintain active sales leadership pipelines.
Are there remote sales manager jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: field and territory sales manager positions rarely go fully remote, while inside sales and account management leadership roles are more often flexible. About 40% of sales manager openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the broader mix of employers here. Technology and SaaS companies based in Scottsdale and Tempe account for most of the remote-eligible postings.
How can I get a sales manager job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is moving up from a senior sales representative or team lead role within one of the city's many insurance, healthcare, or technology companies, which regularly promote internally. Employers in Tempe's tech corridor and Scottsdale's financial services cluster often post associate or junior sales manager titles that accept candidates with two to three years of quota-carrying experience rather than formal management history. Building a measurable record of exceeding targets in any Phoenix-area sales role is the strongest credential.
Which industries hire the most sales managers in Phoenix?
Most sales manager openings in Phoenix sit in Automotive, Manufacturing, and Distribution & Wholesale, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Phoenix's role as a regional headquarters hub for insurance carriers, health systems, and technology firms drives consistent demand for sales leadership across all three sectors.
